At last summer is here for us to enjoy the beautiful grounds at The Orangery. Rachel and Oliver are a couple who are certainly looking forward to their outdoor summer wedding. Here is their heartwarming story of how they met…
“Oliver and I met in college as we were both studying in the performing arts department. He did Drama and I did Musical Theatre. We decided to start our relationship in the final year of college (2014), February 10th. After just over 4 months being together, I moved in to Oliver’s home and he then proposed to me 2 days later. The way it happened was we were having a very emotional and heart to heart conversation, with some romantic music playing and at the peak of the moment Oliver went down on one knee and asked me to marry him. The Orangery was the first venue we visited and we wanted a venue with a gazebo and stunning surroundings and very close to nature as I love the outdoors and the orangery ticked all the right boxes as soon as we saw it. So we knew it was the right place for us to marry. “
We are so pleased to tick all of the boxes on their wedding wishlist and can’t wait to meet you both on your special day. As an exclusive use venue the stunning nine acre grounds are there for you and your guests to enjoy. Set beside the River Len you can enjoy the beautiful gardens with sweeping lawns, huge Wellingtonia Pines and Blue Cedars. The natural beauty of the water creates a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere to make your day that bit more special. There are so many photographic opportunities at The Orangery; the lake with the boathouse in front of the tumbling waterfall or perhaps just relaxing on the lawns. The grounds are there to be used by you and your guests, so seize the moment and capture all of those precious moments.
I have the pleasure of completing my work experience here this week at The Orangery and already after day one can understand how beautiful this venue is as well as how friendly the team are.
On behalf of the team here we would like to wish them all the very best for their forthcoming wedding and for a wonderful future together.
