Mollie and Tom had been together for over 5 years when Tom decided to pop the question in a rather unique way. He had a very special message engraved on their dog, Twix’s dog tag!
Mollie told us how it all happened back on 7 October 2016…….
“Tom came home from work and asked me what was on Twix’s collar, I saw the tag and as I read marry me, Tom then when down on one knee with my engagement ring in his hand………of course I said yes!!”
Tom Later revealed to Mollie that he had arranged a family meal at a local restaurant where there were balloons, banners and cupcakes to celebrate their engagement.
Tom had already done his research, and knowing how much Mollie would love The Orangery, he had found out the details of the next open day. Tom and Mollie came along to our Wedding Open Day on Sunday 9th October with their families and immediately fell in love with the venue. They received a warm welcome from the team and loved the fact it is not until you walk through the gates that you realise just how stunning the venue is and how much exclusive space you have to enjoy on your wedding day.
So the wedding was booked – Friday 11 May 2018! It came round very quickly and Mollie and Tom became Mr and Mrs Weeden.
Mollie said “We had the most perfect day choosing most of your recommended suppliers and the staff at the Orangery were so helpful throughout all our wedding planning helping us feel at easy and making our wedding day so special. Our duty manger Bryony Mitchell was truly amazing”
A fantastic day for a fantastic couple. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of your big day and we wish you every happiness for the future.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Weeden 🙂
